But, where the entrepreneur and future member of the Trump administration reveals himself to be an important media, and potentially financial, supporter of the Italian, German and British extreme right, he is until now unaware of the existence of Marine Le Pen, the leader of the RN, and that of Jordan Bardella, the president of the party. Like those of Eric Ciotti, president of the Union of Rights for the Republic, or the Reconquest MEP! Sarah Knafo, who attempted, in vain for the moment, a few appeals to Elon Musk on his X network or to the European Parliament.
-For the latter, who try to embody the small niche of liberal-conservatism in France, the owner of Tesla and SpaceX sets an example to follow on all levels: drastic reduction of the role of the State, fight against societal movements grouped under the catch-all label of “wokism” and unconditional defense of freedom of expression. The RN has, in its regard, more reservations, and assures that it does not need the echo chamber that it offers to Reform UK, in the United Kingdom, or to Alternative for Germany (AfD), two former allies of the RN.
