A fake prison administration non-commissioned officer arrested

The Mbour central police station put an end to the criminal actions of a false non-commissioned officer of the prison administration. The forger A. Diédhiou and his two accomplices, including a teacher, were presented this Friday to the public prosecutor. Here are the details of the investigation.

Member of the regional subcommittee of arbitrators (CRA) of Mbour, A. Diedhiou risks compromising his professional activity following his arrest by the men of Commissioner Bara Niang for usurpation of office.

This referee managed to deceive his people. When going to the Caroline Faye stadium, he sometimes wore his jacket with the image of the prison administration.

But the forger was unmasked on January 15. That day, while checking a public transport vehicle, a police officer suspected a passenger wearing a prison administration uniform with a national gendarmerie stripe.

Asked to provide his identity, A. Diédhiou presented himself as a non-commissioned officer of the prison administration serving at the Mbour Prison and Correction Center (MAC).

He was taken to the local central police station where a false professional card in his name was discovered by him, following a security search.

The continuation of the investigations allowed the men of Commissioner Bara Niang to get their hands on the two makers of the false professional card. They are the teacher EN Mbaye and the infographic artist S. Sow.

Questioned in the minutes, the incriminated duo admitted to having made the false card on behalf of the referee A. Diédhiou. They declared that they had been fooled by A. Diédhiou, whom they considered to be an agent of the prison administration.

It appears from the file that the forger had made the teacher EN Mbaye believe that he had lost his professional card by sending him his photo Via WhatsApp. And the infographic artist S. Sow made a new map for him.

The search carried out in the printing house belonging to the teacher EN Mbaye, resulted in the seizure of a batch of 37 blank cards and 02 false cards already made for the benefit of the Fire Brigade according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecution .

At the end of the investigation, the three accused were referred for usurpation of office, forgery and use of forgery and complicity.
