As part of the heath managementthe Joint Coastal Spaces of La Manche Syndicate is organizing a prescribed burning ce Sunday January 19, 2025 in Vauville (Manche).
What does this consist of?
The operation, which will take place on the western slope of the Thôt mooraims to renew vegetation with fire while reducing the risk of fire.
Burning consists of burning standing plants. It also allows prevent or limit accidental fires during the summer period.
Supervised by firefighterswith a fire tanker to secure the site, this intervention will extend on 3 to 4 hectares, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..
-The zone East previously prepared with firewalls. The Rignoletterie road will be closed to traffic, except for local residents.
