After Ivory Coast, Laayoune welcomes the Moroccan-Liberian Joint Cooperation Commission

The third session of the Moroccan-Liberian Joint Cooperation Commission embodies an important turning point in bilateral relations and constitutes an opportunity to establish a solid economic partnership by exploring new avenues of advanced cooperation, thus contributing to the consecration of joint development and the economic integration between the two countries and at the continental level, affirmed, Friday in Laâyoune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita.

Speaking on the occasion of this meeting, the minister expressed his conviction that this third session of the Joint Cooperation Commission will give a strong boost to the dynamics of bilateral relations, stressing that “our common desire is to raise the bilateral cooperation at the level of the aspirations of the heads of state of the two countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and President Joseph Nyumah Boakai.

He welcomed the positive results achieved during this meeting, noting that “the agreements which will be signed during this ministerial session in Laâyoune reflect our common commitment to pave the way for the creation of a favorable business climate to achieve a winning partnership -win between Morocco and Liberia”.

Likewise, Mr. Bourita noted that the legal framework adopted today will certainly contribute to advancing bilateral relations, calling on economic operators and investors from both countries to seize opportunities to explore new horizons for cooperation in areas such as investment, industry, trade, maritime fisheries, renewable energy, health, water, education, infrastructure and women’s issues.
