The two actors and comedians from Centre-Val de Loire, Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet, are going on tour to cinemas in France. They will have a series of previews for their new feature film The Bodin's are going into a tailspin, whose national release is scheduled for March 19, 2025.
From January 20 to February 20, around a hundred rooms are planned. Many are already sold out, as for the premiere in Châteauroux on Monday January 20. The Bodin's will then go to Tours, Blois, Romorantin or even Châtellerault.
“For the five days of the first week alone, 6,500 chairs were sold. In many cinemas, we are opening a second or even a third room”announces Agathe Boismorand, Province Tours manager at Société Nouvelle de Distribution.
Three sessions and 1,000 people expected in Tours
The attraction is confirmed for example at the CGR des Deux-Lions, in Tours, where three previews are scheduled for Tuesday January 21. “The places sold out very quickly. We are expecting nearly 1,000 people,” explains Margaux Dupuis-Noël, from the cinema in the south of the Touraine area.

The Bodin's set up the souk
Their previous feature film Bodin's in Thailand was released in theaters in 2021. It attracted more than 1.6 million spectators in France, placing the film in 15th placee place at the French box office (5e French film).
This time, the Bodin's could well put “the souk”. The film directed by Frédéric Forestier was shot in the Paris region, in the Moroccan desert… And in Indre-et-Loire, notably in Preuilly-sur-Claise in spring 2024. For example, it will be a question of desertification of the countryside…
