At the start of the week, around twenty municipalities in the urban area were deprived of internet and telephone due to an incident that occurred on Tuesday between Sochaux and Montbéliard. A construction machine had indeed damaged a cable of the Orange network. If the network has been restored in most of these sectors, this is not the case for Allondans, Dung and Presentevillers.

The inhabitants of these three villages, particularly those with optical fiber, are in fact still deprived of an internet network. An SMS was sent to them today telling them that the network would be restored, first on January 21, then finally on January 28.
“It seems that the operator, deployer of optical fiber in the town of Allondans, may have created an incident by carrying out work on Thursday in this town. The municipalities of Dung and Presentevillers are supplied by this network which passes through Allondans, which explains the interruption of service in the 3 municipalities” confirms the Orange communications department.
