During the night from Thursday to Friday, a dramatic incident shook the population of Loumbi Dobé, in the commune of Barkédji, in Linguère.
A teacher, Mouhamadou Bamba Souané, was violently attacked with a machete. Seriously injured, he was admitted to Maguette Lo hospital in Linguère, where doctors fear he may lose his left eye, according to Rfm sources.
Outraged by this attack, local teachers formed a collective to demand justice and the arrest of those responsible for this act.
