In a press release published yesterday, the Federation of Health Unions (F2S) denies the lifting of the information retention order. “This information is completely false and is nothing but manipulation,” says F2S, which also denounces attempts at intimidation on the part of the administration. Les Échos reports that the member unions of the F2S, including Sas, Sat-Santé, Syntras and Sutracol-Santé, criticize management described as “chaotic” by the ministry, illustrated by budgetary inadequacies in the finance law 2025.
Contrary to the Minister of Health’s assertions, the F2S claims that no real discussion took place to address their demands. “The minister has never called for discussions with the health unions which make up the F2S,” the press release specifies. Les Échos indicates that, according to the unions, the rare meetings organized were limited to simple making contact, without resulting in any minutes.
The F2S criticizes the minister for engaging in superficial activities, such as inaugurations and seminars, which it describes as pretexts to justify external funding, to the detriment of the real priorities of the health system. The federation reiterates its main demands, in particular the generation of housing allowance, the reclassification of agents according to their seniority and their diplomas, as well as the regularization of contractual agents. It also calls for the application of article 29 of the general statute of civil servants of local authorities.
Faced with the situation, the F2S is planning a series of actions to maintain the pressure. Les Échos announces that a general meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21 at the Roi Bedouin hospital. In addition, a major national march will be held on January 28. The federation calls for a total break with “old methods” and a paradigm shift to achieve the universal health coverage advocated by the authorities.
