On February 6, 2025, the Afpa centers open their doors.
Afpa (National Agency for Adult Vocational Training) is a major operator of professional support and training in France. Afpa acts in favor of inclusion and social promotion through employment in the heart of the territories. CFA since 2019, the Agency trains 4,500 apprentices per year. It is also the training and consulting partner of more than 6,500 companies to build the skills of tomorrow and support their HR needs.
In 2023, Afpa has trained and supported nearly 161,000 people. For now, visitors will be able to discover numerous professions, and find out about the training offers available in the sectors which are recruiting. People looking for qualifications, retraining, a work-study contract or personalized support will have the opportunity to meet trainees and trainers, and to obtain all the practical information to benefit from a training or support.
A dedicated platform allows you to register in advance at the JPO and consult the program of each center to discover the 250 professions for which Afpa prepares. Afpa also offers a range of support systems adapted to each need, to secure or prepare a professional project and access employment. Training at Afpa is a guarantee of employability: nearly 73% of trainees trained at Afpa find a job within six months following the end of training.
-The Open Day offers a unique opportunity to discover the richness of the Afpa offer. Qualification, skills development: diploma training, advanced training, skills validation (VAE), skills assessment, access to job search assistance tools, CV construction, financing, etc. Changing careers: Afpa supports employees and job seekers in their retraining project. Work-study: training offers and numerous positions to be filled under professionalization contracts or apprenticeship contracts, particularly for young people. They represent 25% of people trained at Afpa. Afpa also works with companies to support them in hiring apprentices.
Personal training account: the advisory teams are mobilized to answer all questions, help individuals activate their account and support them in their search for training. Support programs towards employment (Prépa Compétences, La Promo 16.18, Déclic pour l’action).
Visits to training platforms are planned, trainers and trainees will be able to answer visitors' questions. In which sectors can we find opportunities? How to successfully retrain? Can you succeed without a diploma? How to bounce back after academic failure? How to get into training? What funding is possible?
