Seizure of 100 kg of hashish worth 120 million CFA francs
The Saly search brigade, commanded by Warrant Officer Ousmane Ndiaye, seized 100 packets of hashish (part) with a total weight of 100 kg. This big dragnet was carried out yesterday Wednesday around 7 p.m.
It all started when the gendarmes of this elite unit of the Mbour company received information relating to a suspicion of hard drug trafficking in Saly Niakh Niakhal on board a vehicle registered abroad. The patrol carried out in the indicated sector made it possible to find the suspect car, abandoned by its occupants.
The operation resulted in the taking of 100 kg of hashish estimated at 120 million CFA francs, Seneweb learned.
An investigation has been opened.
