“I still can’t understand…” It’s a hectic start to the year for the mayor without the label of Cuise-la-Mottecommune located east of Compiègne, in Oise, targeted by multiple insults and threats on social networks.

It all started with a video from the MP for 5e constituency of Oise, to which this commune of 2,100 souls belongs. Frédéric-Pierre VosParisian lawyer parachuted by the RN, denounced his exclusion from the ceremony of vows of Renaud Bourgeoisthe mayor of Cuise-la-Motte, organized on January 10.

“A real affront to the 60% of voters who voted for me”

Not invited, the deputy elected in July 2024 had it bad. Very bad. From there to putting himself on stage in the village to share his situation with his followers, on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

“The mayor of the town invited all the political figures of the canton but wanted me not to participate in this meeting, believing that the National Rally was not in the Republican arc,” explains Frédéric-Pierre Vos.

He implicitly points to the invitation from Pierre Vatin, the former LR deputy of 5e constituency. “This is the way the old world manages politics,” the MP rails in front of the camera.

This way of doing things is a real affront to the 60% of voters who voted for me in the second round of the legislative election.

Member of Parliament for the 5th constituency of Oise

More precisely, the elected representative of the RN had collected 58.62% of the votes in this village. It doesn't matter since under this video very hostile comments were seen, addressed to the mayor of Cuise-la-Motte.

Hostile messages deleted

As reported by The Picard Couriersome Internet users had commented “Stalinist Gauchiasse”, “Fascist”, “Far-left Nazi”, “He will pay dearly” or even “The guillotine for those who think the same way” under the video in question.

Posts that have since been deleted. Today all that remains is words of support from RN supporters for their MP.

Contacted by Oise News this Thursday, Renaud Bourgeois evokes a “complicated” situation. “I can't say it's politics, but stupidity very probably.”

A video made “to destabilize and stir up hatred”

He assures that he did not invite Frédéric-Pierre Vos to his vows because he did not know him. “I had already met him in Pierrefonds but that’s all. Now I know his behavior…”

The death threats aimed at me emanate from this video made to destabilize and stir up hatred. Coming from an MP, who I hope advocates respect, it's quite the opposite.

Mayor (SE) of Cuise-la-Motte

The mayor of Cuise-la-Motte explains that his first assistant “was in contact” with the deputy before his wishes. He also believes that MP Vos should have “intervened” to call for calm, after having learned of the insults in question.

Asked by us, the entourage of the RN elected official confirms that “the insulting messages and inciting violence have been deleted”.

The RN denounces “the withholding of information”

“We especially wanted to denounce the fact that instructions had been passed to stop us from coming. When we tried to find out the place and time of the vows ceremony, there was withholding of information,” says the RN.

The MP assures him: “it was never my intention that there be hateful comments against him”. “If anyone has been insulted in history, it is the voters that I represent,” Frédéric-Pierre Vos then asserts, denouncing “childish behavior” from the mayor.

Faced with the vile remarks read on social networks, the mayor of Cuise-la-Motte decided to file a complaint.
