Tensions are growing at Carpentras hospital in Vaucluse. It is for this reason that management announced the opening of ten additional beds in the establishment, according to information from Dauphiné Libéré.

In the department the white plane which defines the crisis management modalities of a health establishment has been triggered in several hospitals. Here in Carpentras, these ten additional places will be welcome in the face of this period of flu epidemic as well as the “great tensions known in the medical service”.

Rehabilitation beds for Carpentras hospital

These bed openings are made thanks to help from Ugecamthe medical care and rehabilitation center attached to the health center. The establishment “agreed to lend its premises by providing rehabilitation beds that had previously been closed due to lack of medical staff,” explains director Pierre Pinzelli.
Doctors from the hospital center will be in charge of this unit.
