The household confidence index (ICM) stood at 46.5 points in the fourth quarter of 2024, instead of 46.2 points recorded in the previous quarter and 44.3 points in the same quarter of the previous year, according to a press release from the High Commission for Planning (HCP).
“The results of the permanent household economic survey, conducted by the High Commission for Planning (HCP), show that in the fourth quarter of 2024, the ICM records a slight improvement, both compared to the previous quarter than compared to the same quarter of the year 2023″, indicates the HCP in its recent information note on the results of the household economic survey.
In the fourth quarter of 2024, 81% of households report a deterioration in the standard of living over the last 12 months, 14.2% a maintenance at the same level and 4.8% an improvement.
