During an interview, Adama Fall, former director general of the Security and Proximity Agency (ASP) and former minister delegate to the Minister of the Interior, expressed his support for the accountability announced by the regime President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye.
“If the state judicial agent wishes, I can accompany him… I show a lot of restraint, because it is necessary. But a lot has happened between then and now. Senegal does not deserve this. We are not in power to achieve ourselves personally, nor to enrich ourselves,” he declared.
“Personally, I am for accountability, because we must distinguish the taxpayer’s money from our own money. Those who know me know that I would never defend people like Cheikh Oumar Anne, Moustapha Diop or Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr on a television set,” he added.
Adama Fall also made revelations about financial practices that he considers unacceptable: “I will never defend those who have squandered state assets. There is a minister who gave 30 million per week, and it was not his money,” he continued.
