Ousmane Sonko will submit a list of investments for 2025 to President Diomaye

During the Council of Ministers on January 8, it was announced that all investment expenditure linked to programs and projects resulting from the 26 strategic objectives and reforms of the 2025-2029 five-year plan will have to be approved by Minister Ousmane Sonko.

In the Council of Ministers this Wednesday, January 15, Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko reaffirmed the need for rigorous monitoring of budgetary credits allocated to investment expenditure, while awaiting the maturation of the priority programs and projects of the 2025 Roadmap of the five-year plan 2025-2029.

The Head of Government instructed the Minister of Finance and Budget, in collaboration with the Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation and the Minister, Secretary General of the Government, to submit to him as soon as possible the list of programs and projects to prioritize for the first quarter of 2025. This list will then be submitted for approval to the President of the Republic.
