The number of Brazilian tourists who visited Morocco increased by 7% in 2024 compared to the previous year, according to data from the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT).

In total, 40,277 Brazilian visitors were recorded, compared to 37,750 in 2023, testifying to a positive recovery dynamic, although still below the 47,113 arrivals in 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic (-15%).

This renewed interest was supported in particular by the relaunch, on December 7, of the direct Casablanca-Sao Paulo connection operated by Royal Air Maroc, despite a context marked by a rise in the dollar and a reduced frequency of weekly flights (three currently compared to six before the pandemic).
