Serigne Sidy Ahmad Sy “Dabakh”, speaking at a press briefing before the Diacksao gamou, scheduled for Saturday around the prophetic hadith “I was sent to perfect the noble values”, warned of the risk of seeing social networks “break the social fabric”, by constituting a “bed of invective”. He suggested the establishment of a “social media regulatory authority”.
He recommended, to support this body, the development of a regulatory system, to “protect the caliphs general, who are the spiritual fathers of Senegal, with the Church”. This, like the criminal provisions condemning cases of offense to the highest authorities.
With the blessing of the Caliph General of the Tidianes, Diacksao, a village in the commune of Koul, in the department of Tivaouane (Thiès, West), intends to take advantage of the religious event of this Saturday, to “revisit all the values of the prophet of Islam, in order to make it widely available,” said the marabout.

The marabout also pleaded for the construction of the Pire-Fass-Diacksao road and a maternity ward, two grievances dear to the populations of Diacksao and surrounding areas.
The only health post in the locality dates from 2015 and was built by the municipality of Koul, with the consolidated investment budget (BCI), under the leadership of its mayor Modou Fall.
