The 2025 salary negotiations between La Poste and the unions have failed. The decision now falls to a conciliation commission, indicate the Transfair union and La Poste on Wednesday.
The failure of the negotiations is very disappointing for Transfair. “After a correct but unsatisfactory 2024 salary agreement and obtained very late, the 2025 result is also delayed. This risks making La Poste staff cough,” writes the union.
Even in the context of the group’s 175th anniversary in 2024, the Post Office missed the opportunity to show gratitude to its staff with a monetary gesture, believes Transfair. But the cost of living has continued to increase, he adds.
“It has become clear that the parties have very different visions of the economic situation,” reacts La Poste in a press release. This is why the negotiations must go through a conciliation commission, she specifies, while promising a one-off bonus of 400 francs.
