Savoy. Fifteen new projects will see the light of day in Maurienne around the Lyon-Turin construction site

Healthcare home, school energy renovation or even development of a stadium… In the sector of Maurienne, many projects will be completed. In any case, this is what the committee of financiers of the Lyon-Turin Grand Chantier Démarche promises, in a press release shared by the prefecture.

“The Grand Chantier approach supports the implementation of projects to strengthen the attractiveness of the territory and improve the quality of life of the people of Mauritius and aims to reconcile the progress of the Lyon-Turin construction site with sustainable economic, social and environmental development. balanced for this territory,” they explain.

“On Friday December 20, the committee validated support from the Démarche Grand Chantier for 15 new projects for the Maurienne region. It awarded grants under the Territorial Accompaniment and Support Fund (FAST) set up by the State and managed by TELT for a total amount of 2 328 555 €».

These projects are in addition to the 9 others already validated previously, for a total amount of €3,389,936 for 24 projects.

The projects are divided according to their theme. For example, there are several arrangements concerning health, others sustainable development or even support for events.

• Creation of a health home, at La Chambre
• Commissioning of a France services bus traveling in the Cœur de Maurienne Arvan community of communes.

Sustainable development:

• Energy renovation of the Chaudannes school, in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
• Energy and acoustic renovation of the multipurpose room, in Sainte-Marie-de-Cuines
• Collective wood-energy boiler room and heating network, in Val-Cenis
• Installation of self-consumption photovoltaic panels on the Praz STEP, in Saint André
• Energy renovation of municipal rental apartments in the Boulangerie building, in Avrieux
• Financial incentive system for carpooling in Maurienne
• Creation of a recycling/resource center in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.

Development and renovation of public facilities:

• Development of the stadium, in Villargondran
• Development of the La Combe leisure area and the Combe Amont greenway, in Saint Jean-de-Maurienne
• Redevelopment of a sports venue, in Argentina
• Supplement for the renovation of the cathedral square, in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
• Tourist development of the hamlet of La Porte by paving the streets, in Saint-Martin-la-Porte
• First phase of the development of the town center on rue de l'église, in Aussois
• Repair of the roof of the school and three rental housing units, in Fourneaux
• Development of the town hall and the former courthouse, in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
• Renovation of the central kitchen of the intercommunal social action center, in Modane.
