American President-elect Donald Trump will participate in WEF 2025 via videoconference on Thursday January 23. This was announced by forum president Borge Brende on Tuesday at a press conference. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be present.
The Republican, who will take office at the head of the White House next Monday, will therefore participate for the third time in the World Economic Forum (WEF). He took part in the meeting in 2018 and 2020, during his first term.
Donald Trump’s threats of annexation risk being on the discussion table. The president of Panama, Jose Raul Mulino Quintero, will come to Davos accompanied by the administrator of the Panama Canal, which Trump wants to annex.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be present in person at the Davos forum for the second year in a row. It will take place on Tuesday January 21, said Brende.
