Vengeful, Diaw enters a store and asks the manager to sell him a knife. The shopkeeper collects the 100 CFA coin and does so without asking any questions. The client hides the weapon in his clothes and rushes towards the victim, who is hit in the chest.
Seriously injured, the teenager ran back to the family home. “Mom, I’ve been stabbed, I’m going to die,” he moaned, his hand on his chest. He comes out of the house before collapsing, reports the newspaper. Which indicates that Fallou Faye died shortly after being admitted to the emergency room of Pikine hospital.

According to the source, he only owed his salvation to the intervention of the gendarmes, alerted by a local notable. Arrested, A. Diaw was placed in police custody.
