“Extraordinary courage”: a high school student finds herself with a knife to her throat while helping an attacked teenager

Today, she agreed to look back on these 5 minutes – which felt like “an hour” – where she showed rare courage and took the risk of being seriously injured to defend a teenager in bad shape. That morning, Léa arrived on foot with a friend at the Jean-de-La-Fontaine high school, around 8 a.m. A few meters from the school, where a mock exam awaits him, the final year student spots two teenagers violently attacking another.
