Landes. Octogenarian found dead in house fire

A woman of 86 ans died this Monday, January 13, in the fire of a 150m² residential house in the town of To Saubusouthwest of Dax. It was a medical team who declared the death of the octogenarian.
A dog died
In the rubble of the house, a dog was also discovered lifeless. Hydraulic means were necessary to put out the flames, indicates the Landes departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS).
The firefighters were alerted at 8:43 a.m., immediately making way for a major rescue system, including 21 firefighters mobilized.
