The Canadian women’s team triumphed at the under-18 world juniors with a 3-0 final victory over the United States on Sunday in Finland.
Caileigh Tiller, Dorothy Copetti and Stryker Zablocki scored all three goals for the Canadians. Quebec goalkeeper Marilou Grenier made 14 saves to get the shutout. American goalkeeper Morgan Stickney made 26 saves.
Last year, the United States won the competition and Canada settled for 3rd place.
