Julien Odoul, spokesperson for the National Rally and deputy for Yonne, was the guest of “8h30 franceinfo”, Sunday January 12. Budget 2025, diplomatic crisis between France and Algeria, the Trump-Musk duo… He answered questions from Alix Bouilhaguet and Hadrien Bect.
“No more Algerians should be welcomed on French soil as long as they do not take back their black sheep”
“Doualemn”, a 59-year-old influencer, was arrested in Montpellier in the south of France, after a contentious video on TikTok and then put on a plane Thursday afternoon for Algeria from where he was returned to France on same evening. “No more Algerians should be welcomed on French soil as long as they do not take back their black sheep, that is very clear”launches this Sunday on franceinfo Julien Odoul, the deputy and spokesperson for the RN.
“Concretely, there is something that we can do immediately, which was revealed by our former ambassador in Algiers, that all French diplomats were placed under surveillance, that they had to request authorization to travel (…) . Well tomorrow, Bruno Retailleau can ask exactly the same thing.”assures the RN deputy.
“The Algerian government is in an extremely hostile posture towards our country. We must stop being spat on, being treated like a doormat”affirms Julien Odoul.
Budget 2025: “We are still at the center of the game”
François Bayrou is trying to pass the 2025 budget by negotiating in particular with the Socialist Party on pension reform. A maneuver that could sideline the National Rally. “Non” replies the party spokesperson, “we are always at the center of the game since we are always the first group in the National Assembly, we are always the first party in France so whatever happens, we will have to deal with the National Rally”.
This arrangement between François Bayrou and the socialists is far from being concluded for Julien Odoul: “The tinkering with the non-censorship agreement can be shattered depending on the circumstances, depending on the LFI which at one point will threaten the PS. All of that is not very serious…”
