12:30 p.m.: Warmth and friendliness at the Velaines polling station!

11:30 a.m.: At the Celles office, a later crowd
The first morning estimates confirmed a fairly clear downward trend for citizen participation. At the Celles office, it seems that voters arrive later, but that the drop would not be that significant.
10:30 a.m.: no press in the offices
The polling stations have been open since 8 a.m. Given the climate of tension and the system put in place, the presidents of the offices refused the presence of the press. The participation rate was expected to be down compared to last October and this seems to be confirmed given the few people lining up this morning.
