Until Sunday, the Bromont National Cycling Center, also called Vélodrome, is hosting the 2025 Canadian track championships. Already, after the first day of activities on Saturday, general director Nicolas Legault said he was satisfied with what was offered to athletes.
We are very happy with how the activities have gone so far. What’s interesting is that two world records and several Canadian records were broken today [samedi]. We always hope that our track is fast and it is. We are very lucky, it’s a good show for people who are new to the sport.
maintains Mr. Legault.

After the weekend of activities, the best cyclists will travel to the four corners of the world to participate in other competitions.
In total, 30 hours of competitions in two days take place in Bromont. Activities will begin early Sunday morning.
The Montreal Olympic Vélodrome was transformed into a Biodôme in 1989. For more than 30 years, there was no longer a professional indoor track in Quebec, before the one in Bromont opened in September 2022, sixteen months after the start of work.
