Heritage Days: Casamémoire trains future guides-mediators

Casamémoire has launched an ambitious training program to prepare volunteer mediator guides. The latter will have the mission of revealing the architectural and urban treasures of Casablanca during the 2025 Heritage Days, scheduled for May 16 to 18, as well as during the Heritage Nights, organized on March 14 and 15 during Ramadan.

This program, both structured and immersive, extends over several months and aims to train mediators capable of transmitting to visitors the rich heritage of Casablanca. Alternating between theoretical sessions and field visits, the training covers various themes, such as:

-The fundamentals of urban planning and architecture of Casablanca.

-The role and responsibilities of the guide-mediator.

-In-depth exploration of the city’s emblematic districts.

The first stages of this initiative have already met with great success. More than 500 participants took part in presentations and visits organized to familiarize themselves with their future role as mediator. The program will continue until May 2025.

Unmissable meetings

Thanks to the commitment of these volunteers, visitors will have access to emblematic sites as well as generally inaccessible places, all in a friendly and immersive atmosphere. Casamémoire warmly thanks all the participants for their enthusiasm and their involvement, promising Casablancans a unique and educational experience during the next heritage events.

The Casablanca Heritage Days, organized by Casamémoire, are now a flagship event to celebrate the architectural and cultural heritage of the city. At the same time, the Nocturnes, which will begin at 9 p.m., will offer a unique perspective of the hidden gems of Casablanca, magnified by the unique atmosphere of Ramadan nights.

By calling on all history and culture enthusiasts to join this initiative, Casamémoire is continuing its mission. That of protecting the collective memory of Casablanca while inspiring future generations.
