Four possible extensions

Still subject to an expulsion order, who cancels his residence permit, the influencer remains considered an illegal alien on French territory. Concretely, it could be the subject of an initial extension of one month, the time to obtain a consular pass.

A second extension of 30 days could then be ordered by a judge, as well as a third and then a fourth, of 15 days each. In total, 90 days during which the French administration must prove that it has a chance of obtaining authorization from Algeria to take back its national. And if Algeria does not deliver the precious document by then, it will in fact be released.

His legal troubles will not be over yet, since he must be tried on February 24 for provocation to commit a crime or misdemeanor. The whole challenge for Beauvau is therefore to keep Doualemn in an administrative detention center at least until this date, the prosecution having not requested any incarceration or judicial control against him.
