Saturday January 11, on the floor of the Ginette-Mazel gymnasium in Rodez, the Ruthéno-Castonetois (N2) will resume with the third round of the French federal cup, against Tournefeuille (N3). Kick-off at 8:30 p.m.
It’s time for a recovery for the Roc. A week after returning to training, Robin Besset’s gang is back on the floor for the French Federal Cup.
Saturday January 11 (8:30 p.m.), at the Ginette-Mazel gymnasium in Rodez, the Ruthéno-Castonetois, residents of Nationale 2, will compete in the third round of the competition against a team which is leader of its Nationale 3 group: Tournefeuille.
Quentin Didelot returns
On the bench, Joël Chassagne will be in charge, Yohann Ploquin being in Portugal with the French U21 team, of which he is the goalkeeping coach. But the technician and his assistant worked hand in hand all week to put the group back on track for the competition, while the championship will not resume until February 8. And it is with a complete group that the navy blue welcome Tournefeuille, even more than complete since it will see the return of Quentin Didelot (shoulder), absent since mid-September.
-If they pass this round, the Ruthéno-Castonetois will play another match before the resumption of the N2, because the sector final of the Coupe de France is scheduled for the weekend of February 1 and 2.
