The punctuality figures for the month of November 2024 have been published by Île-de-France Mobilités. The latter is stable on the RATP and SNCF lines, compared to the previous month, with nevertheless some lines still in difficulty.
“The good dynamic” continues in Ile-de-France public transport. Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) published this Thursday, January 9, the punctuality figures for the month of November 2024, which are a continuation of those of the previous month.
On the metro, punctuality is stable compared to October, although three lines experienced difficulties in November: the 7 (-7% compared to October), the 8 (-3 %) et the 9 (-8 %).
“These difficulties are explained in particular by external causes for lines 8 and 9 (abandoned packages, passenger incidents) and by maintenance difficulties for line 7,” specifies IDFM.
No metro line below 80%
In November, compliance with the implementation of the transport offer is very good for automatic lines (1, 4 and 14) with on average 101% of the offer desired by IDFM.
Four lines show peak hour punctuality of 95 to 100%: lines 2, 5, 10 and 11. The punctuality of lines 3, 6 and 9 is between 90 and 95% in November. Four lines remain below 90%: the 7, 8, 12 and 13. Note that all lines are above 80%.
But overall, peak hour performance is up slightly and has stabilized since the start of the year. Compared with the month of January, the increase in punctuality remains notable for several lines, including 3 and 4 (+10%), and even line 6 (+6%).
The RER C is struggling
On the RER lines, punctuality is also stable, with the exception of RER Cdown since October and which stood at 84.46% in November, far from the 90% hoped for in the contract reference.
Good news, on the RER Epunctuality increased by 7%, “after a month of October impacted by difficult weather conditions”.
Finally, the train lines show results in line with objectives, “with the exception of to Rwhich is the subject of infrastructure work”. Note that the P linewhich also suffered bad weather in October, posted an increase of two punctuality points.
