The Grand Harmony Orchestra of South Aveyron in concert in Roquefort-sur-Soulzon

The Christmas concerts given in Saint-Affrique and – which were a real success – had barely ended when, carried by this dynamic, the Grand Orchester d’Harmonie du Sud-Aveyron inaugurated the year 2025 with a first concert. This will be held this Friday, January 10 at 8 p.m. at the Roquefort-sur-Soulzon village hall.

Today with 50 musicians, the Harmony Orchestra continues to grow, both musically, under the direction of Xavier Durandonly in its composition, with the regular arrival of new members. In recent years, several established musicians have joined its ranks, including seven newcomers, young and adult, over the last twelve months.

In 2024, with a profoundly renewed repertoire, no less than twelve concerts were given by this institution, which has been part of the cultural landscape of South Aveyron for decades.

For this opening concert of 2025, the program promises to be varied and captivating: film music, extracts from musicals, jazz and songs will resonate at the foot of the famous Combalou.

A musical moment not to be missed to start the year off right! Free entry.
