The services of the Departmental Council of Seine-Saint-Denis will soon leave their buildings in . Thousands of local authority agents will join the Pulse building, located Place du Front Populaire in Saint-Denis (93). They must have moved by the end of the first quarter of 2026 at the latest, reveals The Parisian. The headquarters of the Department and the meeting room of the departmental assembly will, however, remain in the Bobigny prefecture hotel. The president of the Departmental Council, Stéphane Troussel (PS), announced Tuesday, December 7 on the social network LinkedIn that it was “a major budgetary opportunity” for the Department.

The Pulse building, delivered in 2019 by Icade and designed by BFV Architectes, has a structure made up of 6,000 cubic meters of mixed wood/concrete material and 300 square meters of solar panels on its roof. He embodies the “new generation office”according to Icade, the project owner, who also indicates that it is “a benchmark in social and environmental performance”. The bill will therefore be lower for the Department.
