Naked shots, without being daring. And a lot of self-mockery in this calendar of “White demigods”. The idea emerged at the end of the year at Marion Blandin Garigos, she is delegated by the parents of the students.
Mothers give up the apron, fathers drop the shirt
Very quickly, things fell into place. 13 dads agreed to drop the shirt, just to get it a little wet to participate in school life. Because the outings are often financed by cake sales, “ it is often mothers who cook them, sell them and even buy them » explains Marion Blandin Garigos with a smile, “ it was a wink to get them to contribute more, we were happy that they took it up with enthusiasm.”
Mayor but father above all
13 fathers posed behind a sign, books and kitchen utensils to symbolize the framework of their work.
13 fathers including a mayor. That of Seyne les Alpes, Laurent Pascal. Who did not choose his office to pose, but decided to highlight a communal place, “ I let go of the mayor's hat and took on dad's hat since my son is in CE1 class. I chose not to be represented in my professional setting or at the office but rather at the swimming pool because it is new, it is also one of my hobbies. I found it consensual and that it would not create an uproar”.

Over the course of a weekend, a photographer from the village took the photos on a voluntary basis in a room provided at the Seyne les Alpes hospital. A timid session at the start, “There was a little apprehension but very quickly a group spirit was established,” explains Laurent Pascal. “It was a moment shared between fathers, it was a lot of fun » adds Marion Blandin Garigos.
The profits from this “Demi Dieu de la Blanche” calendar will be used to finance school trips, particularly to Volonne for sailing. They are still on sale at the soap factory in the town of Seyne les Alpes.
