The Robert Doisneau Cauvaldor social and cultural center in Biars-sur-Cère is offering two “Tuesday Walks” in January 2025, always accompanied by Florent Guinot, a specialist guide on the Limousin mountain.
Tuesday January 7, a hike is proposed in Escouanes de Tauriac, an ideal walk to get back into activity at the start of the year!
Meet at Place Germaine Moreau in Bretenoux at 1:30 p.m. or at 1:45 p.m. at the Pont Mols roundabout near Puybrun. This 6 km hike with no difference in altitude is accessible to all and will allow walkers to discover the Escouanes plain on the outskirts of Puybrun, where Limousin cows and local crops coexist: nuts, chestnuts, asparagus, corn… easy route along the Dordogne.
Tuesday January 21, the walk will lead to Puy du Mont in Vayrac. Meet at Place Germaine Moreau in Bretenoux at 1:30 p.m. or 1:50 p.m. in front of the Vayrac cinema.
This very affordable route, as it largely follows small country roads, will take walkers to the heights of Vayrac and allow you to contemplate the village and part of the Dordogne Valley. 6km course with 170m difference in altitude.
The “Tuesday Walks” are open to the public and free.
