Rain, rain and more rain… For this first weekend of the year, the Vendéens are not experiencing ideal weather conditions.
If the rain continues, the temperatures have known, a fairly sudden resurgence.
The explanations
At 1:48 p.m., it was 6.3°C in Sables-d’Olonne against 11.9°C at 2:48 p.m. (i.e. + 5.6°C in 1 hour).
In Noirmoutier, it was 5.9°C at 1:48 p.m. compared to 12°C at 2:48 p.m. (i.e. + 6.1°C in 1 hour).
In the space of an hour, the temperature practically doubled! On its Facebook page, Climat Vendée gives the reasons:
The warm front of the disturbance is progressing and the wind is currently swinging to the South-West on the Atlantic coasts. It favors the rise in temperatures, with the advection of a much milder air mass.
Forecasters specify that this “redoux will progress throughout the departmentto reach La Gâtine at the end of the afternoon. In the evening, it will be 11 to 13°C everywhere, with a strong southwest wind (40 to 60 km/h). »
The rain, however, is not expected to stop this weekend…
