Every year, theNational Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) reveals the figures linked todemographic change. At the end of December 2024, the Institute revealed the legal population of the different French municipalities as of 1^is January 2022.

In the Morbihanfour municipalities have less than 200 inhabitants on 1^is January 2025. If Brignac et Sainte-Brigitte are close to 200 inhabitants with respectively 198 and 178 inhabitants, two municipalities do not exceed the threshold of 120 administered.

Among the least populated Morbihan municipalities, that of Saint-Brieuc-de-Mauron is the one which lost the most inhabitants between 2016 and 2022 (- 47 inhabitants).
