The alleged rape case involving the sons of Moroccan high society figures takes a new turn with the arrest of Mohamed Amine Naguib, fiancé of the plaintiff French lawyer, Sistine Felix. He was arrested at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca upon his return from , at the heart of a controversy surrounding a compromising voice note.

Responsible within the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), Mohamed Amine Naguib is accused of violating the secrecy of the investigation and instruction. His arrest followed the broadcast ofa voice recording in which he discusses his exchanges with the investigating judge of the Casablanca Court of Appeal and the recent withdrawal of a complaint for assault and battery, filed on December 5.

The voice note, in addition to these revelations, contains insulting remarks aimed at the lawyer of one of the accused as well as criticism directed against the prosecution. These elements led to additional charges against Naguib, who is now subject to strict judicial control.

In this audio recording, he also allegedly criticized the investigating judge in charge of the case, reproaching him for having accepted the withdrawal of the complaint and considering that he was “not a man”. The audio recording of more than 15 minutes revealed the accused’s statements before the investigating judge, where he denied having witnessed or had knowledge of the rape of his French girlfriend.

Meanwhile, the request for provisional release of Kamil Bennis, one of the main accused, was rejected despite testimonies disputing the existence of rape. The complainant, for her part, firmly maintains her version of the facts and refutes any allegation of a consensual relationship.

The affair, which originated in an evening organized on November 2, 2024 at the home of Kamil Bennis, continues to cause great agitation in influential circles in Morocco. The accused include Kamil Bennis, heir to an influential family in the pharmaceutical sector, Mhamed Alj, son of the president of Moroccan employers, Saâd Slaoui, an entrepreneur based in London, and Ahmed Daghbour, local elected official and municipal councilor.

While the investigation continues, this affair crystallizes tensions and fuels debates within judicial and media circles, suggesting new revelations to come.
