Don't worry, you won't break your teeth on it. But don't dream too much either, it's obviously not an ingot. An ingot is hidden in the Galettes des Rois from a bakery in Gard.
An ingot is simply a small ingot. Like the model above, it is in gold. The National Gold Counter has partnered with several bakeries to win this ingot of 5 grammes following the purchase of a Galette des Rois. There are two in Occitanie: at the Saint-Aubin bakery and pastry shop in Toulouse and in Saint-Chaptes (Gard), at Un éclair de Jenny.

« In 2024, gold reached all-time highswith an impressive increase of more than 30% over the year, while the record was reached on October 30, with the ounce listed at $2,789.95 (€2,656.60),” recalls Comptoir National Gold.
The 5 gram ingot is estimated at 445 euros (as of December 31, 2024). It is 23.3mm long and 14mm wide. But be careful, there will be only one winner. And it will be by drawing lots.
Return to tradition
It is a return to the tradition of the 18th centurye century. Indeed, if initially beans were simple legumes, they have become gold or silver coins in the wealthiest families. Before becoming all kinds of things in the second part of the 20th centurye century…
Inspired by this custom, the partner bakeries of the Comptoir National de l'or, had already won over the last two years an authentic French 20 Gold Francs coin (the Golden Napoleon), and this famous 5 gram ingot.
