New twist in Morocco in the so-called “sons of” affair. Four young men, some of whom belong to the kingdom’s wealthiest families, have found themselves at the heart of rape accusations since November 2024. The companion of the alleged victim is now being prosecuted for violating the secrecy of the investigation and instruction. He has just been incarcerated at Oukacha prison, in Casablanca, where the other accused have been in pre-trial detention for several weeks.

He went from accuser to accused. He who had filed a complaint at the start of the case for assault and battery, claiming to have been assaulted and prevented from joining his partner. She, the 27-year-old student lawyer, taken to another part of the luxurious villa, where a social evening was taking place, bringing together around a hundred guests, claims to have been raped by one of the accused.
Complaint withdrawn
His companion has since withdrawn his complaint for assault and battery. He is even in the sights of justice. The fault lies in a voice note, in which he allegedly disclosed the content of his exchanges with the investigating judge. In this leaked audio, he also allegedly uttered insults against one of the defense lawyers.
