The DGSN unveiled, on Thursday, January 2, the list of new appointments to positions of responsibility in public security services in the cities of Rabat, Essaouira, Marrakech, Oujda, Laâyoune, Tangier, Guercif and El Aïoun. These new appointments are part of an internal dynamic aimed at infusing new blood and calling on young, experienced security skills capable of contributing effectively to ensuring the safety and security of citizens and their property.
Approved by Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security, these appointments include precisely nine positions of responsibility: positions of police commissioner in the city of El Aïoun, and two positions of police district chiefs in Guercif and Tangier .

-These decisions also aim to place security executives at the head of other decentralized public security services, with in particular the appointment of three heads of traffic accident departments in Rabat, Marrakech and Essaouira, a head of the team of criminal investigation in Oujda and an interim head of the urban corps in Laâyoune, in addition to the appointment of the head of a brigade affiliated with the general intelligence group in Oujda.
When appointing these positions, care was taken to choose skills from the new generation of security executives, who have a sense of professionalism, integrity and duly proven and high experience, so that they can implement optimally implements the new security strategy which aims to serve the citizen, by strengthening the feeling of security, improving police services and consolidating the communication and openness approach of the security services.
