The president of the departmental council, Martial Saddier, was one of the first to present his wishes to residents on Tuesday, December 31, in a video filmed on the Pâquier in Annecy.
The elected official evokes “a wonderful, magnificent department” in which “despite the difficulties, we have good reasons to open the page of 2025 in hope”.
In this same speech, he also paid tribute to the forces of law and order and security, starting with the firefighters. Finally, he underlines the maintenance “despite budgetary restrictions” of the department's investments in colleges – two of which will open in 2025 –, for roads and cycle paths, for assistance to municipalities in their water projects. and sanitation as well as in the areas of disability, elderly people and minors in danger.
