Each year, a major security system is deployed on the ground to ensure the safety of everyone during the end-of-year celebrations: police officers, gendarmes, soldiers from Operation Sentinel, firefighters, etc.
This mobilization is accompanied by measures taken by the prefect of Bas-Rhin aimed at preventing accidents linked to the use of fireworks, as well as violence and disturbances to public order:
– Throughout the Bas-Rhin department :
- Interdiction dand thepurchase, of the sale of the detention, you transport one dand theuse of fireworks and pyrotechnic articles categories F2 and F3
- from Sunday 1is December 2024 at 00:00 to Friday January 3, 2025 at 08:00

As a reminder, already in force on the Grande-Île in Strasbourg (Walks Christmas): ban on’purchase, of the sale of the detention, you transport one dand theuse of fireworks and pyrotechnic articles of all categories from Wednesday November 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. to Friday December 27, 2024 at 9:00 p.m.
- Ban on distribution, dand thepurchase and of the takeaway fuel in everythingt transportable container
- from Sunday December 29, 2024 at 00:00 to Friday January 3, 2025 at 06:00
- Ban on sale and of the consumption of alcohol on public roads
- from Tuesday December 31, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. to Wednesday 1is January 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
– Additional measures in the following municipalities :
Strasbourg – Hoenheim – Bischheim – Schiltigheim – Illkirch-Graffenstaden – Lingolsheim – Ostwald
- Establishment a curfew for minors under 16 years of age unaccompanied by one of their parents or a representative of parental authority
- from Tuesday December 31, 2024 at 10:00 p.m. to Wednesday 1is January 2025 at 06:00
