Public meetings for the PADD

On September 26, 2019, the elected officials of Haute-Ariège unanimously decided to create a Local Intercommunal Urban Planning Plan serving as a local housing program (PLUIh). This document addresses all aspects of land use planning with a focus on housing.

The first two years were devoted to an intercommunal diagnosis, including the initial state of the environment and territorial issues, presented during public meetings in June 2022. Then, the Sustainable Planning and Development Project (PADD), essential for development over the next ten years, was developed and presented in October 2023.

In 2024, the emphasis was placed on the implementation of the PADD on the 173,084 plots of Haute-Ariège via regulatory tools and the Orientations and Actions Program, focused on housing policy. Elected officials wish to continue this work in collaboration with all stakeholders in the region, including residents, professionals and institutions.

To encourage local dialogue, public meetings are organized to present the regulatory version of the PADD:

  • Thursday January 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Savignac les Ormeaux.
  • Friday January 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Auzat.
  • Monday January 13, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Carcanières.
  • Tuesday January 14, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in Aston.
