Since her election, the new Miss France has continued to make people talk about her. On December 14, 2024, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss Martinique, was crowned Miss France 2025 during a ceremony at the Arena Futuroscope in Poitiers. She won the title against Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Sabah Aïb.
Since her election, Angélique Angarni-Filopon has had a series of official engagements and interviews. Her coronation divided Internet users and some of them did not hesitate to denigrate her. Whether it was his skin color or his age, 34 years old, many people did not hesitate to be insulting. On this second point, she wanted to express herself in the columns of Parisian : “I'm reminded of my age all the time, I believe it is well preserved. I have no wrinkles. Thirties is perhaps the most beautiful age.” she asserted.

However, this clarification does not seem to have calmed the detractors. According to the magazine Public, Angélique Angarni-Filopon recently published an Instagram story in which she responded to a user's criticism regarding her physique : “But you (sic) not pretty ehn”, this person would have tried to write. A comment to which Miss France 2025 responded without delay: “In 2025, put more energy into your projects than into messages with spelling mistakes“, she would have written in an Instagram story. However, shortly after its publication, Angélique Angarni-Filopon would have deleted this publicationwithout providing an explanation.
Although the precise reasons for this deletion remain unknown, would the Miss France committee have advised Angélique Angarni-Filopon to remove it and not stir up more criticism? For now, the reasons for this deletion were not given…
