Welcome to 2025, and therefore welcome to the new commune of Saint-Jean d'Hermine (Vendée)! Merger of the municipalities of Saint-Jean-de-Beugné and Sainte-Hermine, Saint-Jean d'Hermine has been a reality since Wednesday 1is January.
A first municipal council on January 6
A first municipal council meeting will take place on Monday, January 6, in the ground floor room of the Sainte-Hermine town hall. In the presence of 36 municipal councilors, the new entity will have to elect its new mayor. Knowing that Johan Guilbot and Philippe Barré will remain deputy mayors of their respective municipalities. With this in mind, new signage will be installed during the month of January.
On the agenda of this first municipal council of Saint-Jean d'Hermine, in addition to the election of the new mayor, the determination of the number of deputies and their elections, as well as the creation of members of the municipal action center social (CCAS). Finally, the approval of the ACTES convention, which leads to the dematerialization of documents with the Vendée Prefecture.
