New show, same ban. The Paris police headquarters has published an order prohibiting “Friday the 13th”the new show by Dieudonné which was to be performed in the “Dieudobus” from January 3 to 15, 2025. A similar measure had already been taken in August 2023.

“Sensitivity of the theme of the show”
The “Dieudobus”, a bus converted into a mobile performance hall, will therefore not open its doors. The authorities refer to their right to prohibit a performance by taking into account “the existence of previous criminal convictions sanctioning comments identical to those likely to be made during the performance of a show. »
The decree thus mentions “the theme sensitivity of the show which deals with the attacks of November 13, 2015” in a “particularly tense” national and international context.
Beyond the text, the Paris police headquarters calls into question the location chosen by the artist, located near “the Ministry of the Armed Forces as well as a synagogue” and recalls that following “the claim of responsibility for the attack on Moscow by the Islamic State organization”, the Vigipirate plan was been raised to the “emergency attack” level.
The planned dates January 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 and 15, 2025 are therefore now prohibited.
