A 63-year-old man dies on the evening of December 28, 2024, in an accident that occurred in the town of Beauvoir-sur-Mer.
It was 9:25 p.m. when the firefighters were alerted.ur an accident occurred on the Sartières road.
The accident involved “a light vehicle alone immobilized on its side in a rack following leaving the road”, specifies the Vendée fire and rescue operational center (Codis).
Two victims
The latter counts two victims inside the automobile.
A 63-year-old man was pronounced dead.
A 68 year old womans, “in relative emergency”, was transported to the Challans hospital center.
19 firefighters and ten engines were mobilized for the intervention, from the emergency centers of Beauvoir-sur-Mer, Saint-Jean-de-Monts, Noirmoutier, Bouin, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, Les Sables-d’Olonne and La Roche-sur-Yon.
