Disturbances since dawn. Due to an electrical outage at Vavin station, which occurred around 6 a.m. this Saturday, traffic is interrupted on metro line 4 in both directions between Réaumur-Sébastopol and Porte d'Orléans, the company announced this Saturday. RATP on the line's X account (ex-Twitter).
The RATP had initially estimated the resumption of traffic at 6:30 a.m., before regularly pushing it back. It is now estimated at 3 p.m.
Traffic was first interrupted between Bagneux-Lucie Aubrac and Cité stations, before being interrupted between Réaumur-Sébastopol and Porte d'Orléans. The Paris transport authority recommends that users take alternative routes or contact agents at the station.
On December 24, traffic was already interrupted, this time due to a power outage at Gare du Nord station.
Note that traffic is also interrupted on line 6 between La Motte-Picquet – Grenelle and Charles de Gaulle – Étoile due to luggage forgotten on a train. The resumption of traffic on this line is estimated at 2 p.m.
