Blood drives in the Gers: take part in January to save lives

Why donate blood?

According to the French Blood Establishment (EFS), each blood donation contributes to meeting patients' needs for essential blood products. Whether for transfusions or treatments, maintaining a regular collection level is vital. Donate blood, plasma or platelets, every gesture counts.

Some conditions to respect to donate:

• Be aged 18 to 70 years old and weigh at least 50 kilos.
• Bring photo ID.
• Do not fast and hydrate well before and after the donation.

Blood collections will take place throughout Gers on key dates:

• Friday January 3in Marciac (Maison des Aînés), from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• Tuesday January 7 and Wednesday January 8in Fleurance (Éloi Castaing room), from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Friday January 10in Lombez (Ramondère room), from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Wednesday January 15in Miradoux (village hall), from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Thursday January 16in Eauze (multipurpose room), from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Wednesday January 22in Manciet (multipurpose room), from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 Januaryin Condom (Pierre de Montesquiou room), from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Where to donate in Auch?

The Auch fixed site, located at the hospital (parking no. 1, Allée Marie-Clarac), is open all year round:

• Mardi : from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• THURSDAY : from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
